Swap, Sow, and Save Our Earth!

Join Winners’ Resource Center for a special Earth Day celebration designed to help you refresh your lifestyle while protecting our planet. Swap and Sow is more than just an event; it’s a community gathering focused on sustainability, stewardship, and “sowing” into a greener future for Tampa.

We are bringing the Village together to reduce waste and share resources in a fun, family-friendly environment.

What to Expect:

  • 👗 Clothing Swap: Refresh your wardrobe without spending a dime! Bring your gently used clothes and swap them for “new-to-you” items.
  • 🌱 Gardening Tips: Learn how to sow into your future. We’ll be sharing practical gardening advice to help you start your own green space at home.
  • 💻 E-Recycling Drop-Off: Protect our soil and water. Bring your old tech items (computers, cables, small electronics) for safe, responsible e-recycling.

How to Prepare:

Before you join us, please view the full list of acceptable items for the clothing exchange and e-recycling drop-off.Come ready to swap, learn, and grow! We can’t wait to see you there as we celebrate the Earth together.

Acceptance Policies

  • General Rule: If it has a plug, a switch, or a battery, it can be recycled.

  • TV Policy: TVs incur a recycling fee based on size:

    • Up to 32": $10 per item.

    • Between 33" – 60": $15 per item.

    • Above 60": $20 per item.

  • Items NOT Accepted: * CRT (Cathode Ray Tube) monitors.

    • CRT (Cathode Ray Tube) TVs.

    • Fluorescent bulbs.
